Windows Explorer give error with AVI files... system crashes

Have you ever caught in a situation while locating one of your collection of Avi videos in windows explorer it got crashed and you have to manually open each and every video to find the right one... then you should follow the simple procedure explained below and there are chances that you will finish with a solution. Though the problem is because of the rendering of videos to display the thumbnail in windows explorer and when it stuck with any file that cause it take too much time while rendering it gets stopped the simple procedure is to stop Windows explorer to display thumbnails of the media files and this can be done with a single command line as follows:

Go To Windows Key> run and in the command windows type

regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll

Hit enter (It will diasable the media preview)

To re-enable it type the following code and hit enter in the run window

regsvr32 shmedia.dll
