As Anurag Bhandari has already announced his latest release of the Linux version the Granular 1, a fabulous work produced after months of hard work. This is the Live CD installable Linux distribution especially designed for home or office users. On the occsassion of the release Anurag announced -"After a long wait, Granular 1.0 is finally out. And we are pretty much excited about this release because this is the first stable Granular release since about a year, and because it's version 1, of course. In the real world it also promised to serve the same things as said by Anurag by offering KDE 3 and E17 desktop environment and includes applications such as Amarok, Filezilla, DigiKam, Kaffeine, Skype, Bluefish, KTorrent, Smb4K, DeVeDe, TVTime, SMPlayer, Xgnokii, AbiWord, soundKonverter, Synaptic Package Manager, Krusader, KPackage, Yakuake. Granular Linux 1.0 has its own kernel and software repositories. And like the other version of Linux this new release is also absolutely free to download.
